The WALIS Forum is the flagship event for the Western Australian Land Information System (WALIS) and one of the premier GIS events in Australia. The Forum features keynote speakers, presentations, technical workshops, facilitated discussions and a trade exhibition. It attracts over 650 local, interstate and international delegates involved in the use of geographic information from a variety of sectors including state and local government, the private sector, academia and the community.
Abstract submission is now open for the Forum. This invitation is your opportunity to contribute to the WALIS International Forum 2009 by sharing your knowledge, experience and insight with over 650 spatial industry peers.
The aim of the WALIS Forum is to provide a platform for delegates to share insights, develop networks and gain knowledge and understanding from the work achieved, being undertaken and planned for the future. The theme of this Forum, Business Intelligence, Business Solutions and Education aims to demonstrate initiatives in the use of geographic information involving collaboration and sharing of information across government and the private sectors.
